About Me:

I grew up in Johannesburg and now live in Parkmore with my family – husband Len and 4 year old twin boys Kergan and Barron. I am very family-orientated person and the majority of my weekends are structured around them.

I graduated cum laude from RAU with a Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in Philosophy and Psychology in 2002.Thereafter, I moved on with one of my great passions: sport and fitness, and completed my Personal Trainers Diploma, as well as various other qualifications in the Fitness Industry, including Group Training Instruction, Kettlebell Instruction, Kids Development, Crossfit Level 1 Certification and Life Coaching Accreditation (Results Coaching Systems)

After a couple of years gaining experience in project management and learning a bit more about the business side of life, I decided to combine my Life Coaching accreditation and  years of Personal Training experience – Powerful Purpose Wellness Coaching came into being and from this also stemmed the #9to5Challenge Program.  A beginner and intermediate running program, the #9to5Challenge is aimed at those wanting to start running but are not sure how to go about incorporating running into their lives as a way to get fit, lose weight, reduce stress,  feel healthier and increase productivity.

My coaching is extremely important to me because I feel i was born to serve and help others. I have instinctively gone into careers where serving and helping people solve their problems has been at the forefront of my responsibilities. When my clients forget their amazing abilities it is my job to inspire, motivate and mentor them to live their true self every day.

To this end I think my coaching helps me to be a better runner and my running helps me to be a better coach. I have run socially for a number of years but it was only a year after the twins were born that I decided it was now or never. If I wanted to do anything with my own running career, then I would have to start training properly for what I wanted to achieve. I joined Neville in November 2015 and since then my running has improved to the point where I can actually taste the success that is coming. What a ride, and its only just begun.
